TimeLimit, which is an Apache loadable module which has two functions: 1. Based on an encrypted cookie stored on the client side, the user can easily be transferred in a semi-secure way from one restricted web area to another. 2. There is a possibility to set a time limit of how much the user can surf the second protected web area, based on an encrypted timestamp stored in the same cookie.
itoa, a simple C program to do the conversion between integer and ASCII (lacking in most of the free unix distros).
Inet_ntop and Inet_pton, a C program to show the usage of the inet_pton and inet_ntop functions, which are compantible with both IPv4 and IPv6.
Just wrote this utility, which makes translating the Linux passwd/shadow files into BSD passwd/master.passwd more easily.
I also wrote this script which allows a simpler insertion in an Apache 'httpd.conf' file of a virtual host more easily. It gives the user the possibility of access with '.htaccess' files, based on the referals and based on the IP/domain of the surfer. I recommend, for sites with a lot of virtual hosts, to create a different Apache config file, only for virtual hosts, and different from the global Apache settings. This file can be included in the main 'httpd.conf' file with an 'include' directive.
Dnssql, a project for importing the Bind 9 zone files into a SQL database (MySQL in my case, but not necessarily) and then exporting these datas again into valid zone files.
Install Debian on a XFS root filesystem -- basically the boot and root disks, with XFS support. Really a hack, but it used to work the last time I've tested them. Afair, it required you to switch to another console during the installation screen, and running various mkfs/fsck utilities.
